Speedvagen Titanium
Embrace The Alternative.
If there is one thing this year has taught us, it is that we need to embrace the alternative more than ever. With a parts shortage and global pandemic, this year has tossed all it has at us. Instead of going silent and resting on what we have built in the past, we decided to push harder and be more creative than ever launching a bike every single month. This led us to trying new parts, new finishes and having more fun, which is what this is supposed to be all about right?
With that idea in mind it was time to officially embrace Ti and put it officially on the SV menu (and website). No Ti bike would embrace the alternative more than a mostly raw metal Ti Speedvagen Rugged Road with a killer build package:
Why choose a bike built around pace-lining and head-down-hammering when for some of us that's not what riding is about?
Carry food. Real food. Not gel or goop or blocks. Hell, carry a beer! This isn’t a race, its life, and we want you to enjoy it. Leave your Garmin at home and find a new way home. See a new road or path? Take it. Embrace it and simply feel all that this world has to offer right now.
We built this bike to be a best bud who always says yes. All day ride? Yes! Want to see how far out of town you can make it before sunset to set up camp? Yes! Night ride in the woods? Yes!
For this September 11th launch we are offering eleven Custom Speedvagen Ti Rugged Roads with Ingrid Components, including their crank, derailleur, and cassette paired to Campy Super Record shifters and brakes. Add on our Kit A finishing package with all Enve everything, you have one capable machine. While Ti is always available the Embrace the Alternative package is limited to just 11 bikes.

Speedvagen Ti
Introducing the Ichico Blast scheme and a brand new Ingrid parts package.
The Ichico blast scheme brings our tone on tone Ichi-Text to raw Ti, with a blasted and brushed finish. We iced this cake with some fine paint work on the carbon parts of the build. The overall result is 100% Speedvagen and our take on a “raw Ti frame”.
Ingrid Components:
The mission of Ingrid Components is to produce performance high end CNC'd drivetrain components.
The team of experienced engineers at Ingrid accept no compromise in the pursue of quality and every part is produce in the factory in Italy.
Ingrid Components are doing things their way and in their style, thats something we can get behind. Designed to be paired with Campagnolo 12 speed shifters/brakes. This stuff works so damn well and we are only offering 11 builds with it!
While custom Ti will be officially on the menu from here on, the Ingrid Package is limited to 11 complete bikes.

Keeping those curves
With our own custom signature Ti seat stays, every Ti Speedvagen gets to keep our signature curves. They are not just for looks either! They’re curved to soak up shock from the road: Imagine you’re holding a small tree branch in your hands. If it’s straight and you’re pushing on both ends, that branch won’t bend. If it has a little curve (like a bow) in will flex under pressure. The same science applies to the rear end of a Speedvagen. With that flex comes shock absorption, giving the bike a springy liveliness and smoothing out the rough stuff.
Speedvagen Ti is realer than real?
Over sized and corrosion resistant, Ti is the material if you live in a caustic environment. All Ti Speedvagen builds come with a carbon seat tube standard and t47 bottom bracket. Our new SV Titanium tubing is designed to mimic our steel tubes for the killer ride quality we are known for. Now available in both blasted, fully painted, and everything in-between finishes.
INTEGRATED SEATMAST
The integrated seatmast makes for beautiful lines. There are a couple of things that are unique to our bikes. Each length of every Speedvagen seatmast is finished specifically for its owner. We also use stainless steel around the top of the seat tube where our post head mounts, rather than the post head wearing on a painted surface. The result is lighter and cleaner than a traditional seatpost, and the collar looks great topped with our ENVE-made Speedvagen post head.
popular upgrades
Frame Pump painted to match
The frame pump represents a recent shift in cyclists’ priorities. Instead of the lightest of everything, people are focusing more on how well something works and how much they enjoy using it. Unlike CO2 or a mini pump, with a full sized frame pump, not only will you always be able to get your tires up to full pressure, but you’ll be a best friend to everyone you ride with, cause you’ll always have enough air for them too.
Fenders painted to match
Riding in Portland 365 days per year, we know (and love) fenders. Honjo fenders (made in Japan) are the lightest and most beautiful available. For the Rugged Road we customize the fenders to size, they then paint to match so that they’re more of an extension of the frame, rather than more stuff that’s just bolted on.
Custom painted hubs
Hubs are a prime location to incorporate your Speedvagen frame color. Instead of the wheels looking like extra parts bolted into the bike, we like to carry the frame color down the fork and frame, through the hub and back up the frame/fork on the other side. ( not available on all hubs)
